It is said that there is a renowned master in Kowloon Walled City Park, he does not know martial arts, but he uses his hands to amaze people with a piece of paper! He can conjure up Chinese characters and adorable animals on colour paper. Mr. Lee Shing Man (Uncle Man) learnt the art by self-taught and becomes the legend of paper tearing art. He promotes the traditional art to travellers in Kowloon Walled City Park.
On 22 October, Uncle Man will appear in the Age-friendly Bazaar hosted by Jockey Club Age-friendly Project! He will teach the basics and skills of paper tearing art. Grab the chance to join this workshop and create special paper art with Uncle Man!

Through telling the stories behind the illustrations featured in the colouring app, participants will know more about the old days of Hong Kong.
Participants will be provided with a tablet. They can try to colour an illustration with the app and learn the tips of digital colouring.
Coloured illustration of each of the participants will be printed on paper for them to take back home.

This formula does not consist of lemon but using litsea cubeba essential oil to create the refreshing aroma of lemon, free the worry of causing photosensitivity. Large celebration plaque with Hong Kong style is one of the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) items. Culture Heir is dedicated to promote this local precious cultural heritage of Hong Kong. This workshop will show you how to create a mini traditional celebration plaque, you can write your wishes on it and mix modern elements with your creativity. We hope this local traditional art can co-exist with contemporary culture and be passed on.
